In short, in Finland it is possible to throttle the power of a motorcycle to the A2 class, but it requires the approval of the authorities and an inspection. An initially 93 kW motorcycle can be throttled down to 25-35 kW, but that requires the bike
among us to meet all the requirements set by the traffic safety authority (Trafi).
After throttling, the bike must pass an inspection, which checks that the bike meets the requirements of the A2 class. If the bike does not meet the requirements, it will be rejected.
