At its core,
slither io is a game where you control a snake-like avatar that grows longer by consuming glowing pellets scattered across a dark, grid-like arena. These orbs come from two sources: static dots and the remains of other players. The more you eat, the longer you grow—and the bigger a threat you become. The goal is simple: become the longest snake in the server without crashing into another player.
Unlike the original Snake game, however, you’re not alone. Every move you make happens in real-time against dozens (or hundreds) of other human-controlled snakes, each trying to outwit and outmaneuver the rest. It’s a tense dance of survival, full of opportunities to feast—or fall.
