Dryer taking too long to dry clothes – what can I check?

Lately my dryer has been taking nearly twice as long to dry a normal load. I already checked the lint trap and it’s clean. I’m wondering if there could be an issue with the vent or airflow? Has anyone else experienced this and found a fix that doesn’t involve buying a new appliance?
